Billing version 1.4 released |

The new series of DataTechLabs Billing system includes significant improvements which allows it to use in larger scale implementations.
Here is brief list of new features:
Performance Improvements (Added support for Billing and Traffic table rotation. Highly recommended for heavy traffic sites to gain several benefits from using table partitioning) :
* Faster response times for OLTP queries.
* User-friendly reports for pre-defined time intervals, better
pagination support, order support.
* Configurable rotation interval.
* Improved old traffic log purging & archiving procedure.
* Better billing and traffic record manageability.
* Query performance improvements on dedicated report server.
Note: It is strongly recommended to have Dual Server solution to enable new feature.
New scalability features (It is possible to configure three SQL servers now. Additional partial replication servers can be used to improve OLTP performance for heavy traffic sites. Administrators have several scalability options) :
* Add and configure more radius servers.
* Improve performance for both authorization and accounting by dedicated real time partial replication.
* It is possible to tie together account groups with NAS'es . This is used in authorization to restrict accounts to use any NAS. They will be allowed to use only selected NAS servers.
* Balance display for HS Teliann phones.
* DNIS Surcharge support.
* End user self-registration improved.
* Multilingual interface improved.

Starting from January 2010 DataTechLabs ArrowBilling is available in several options:
1) Standard version (full unlimited license)
and
2) DTLite version (free download edition)
The new, DTLite version has all the features of Standard version software, and is available for free download at our Download area. It is distributed as VMware image, and therefore can be installed as "virtual" computer on top of any existing Windows or Linux server without disturbing any other applications. |
